I had my last lacrosse game as a Penmen this past weekend and these are some final thoughts I shared with my teammates before the game:
I just wanted to say thank you, I have learned so much from each and every one of you. You have all been a part of a very important chapter of my life and because of that you will always hold a special place in my heart.
Your time at SNHU is going to fly by, so enjoy it. Continue to meet new friends, try new things, and get involved. The good and the bad, you’ll learn from it all
Respect one another, but more importantly act in a way that will earn the respect of your teammates and peers. If others respect you your thoughts and ideas will travel further.
Be a leader, not a follower.

“What I’ve seen from watching others take on these roles is that many are not mature enough for this type of power. There are a lot of people out there who have leadership qualities, but do not yet know how to use their power in a rational, educated manner.”
Above is an line from How to be a successful leader while in you’re 20s. Check out the article, it does a great job explaining how important maturity and self identity is when being a successful leader.
