Weekly Lacrosse Workout!

Wednesday is workout day for the Southern New Hampshire University women’s lacrosse team! The incredible Coach P creates our workouts for us! To keep things interesting the workout is different each week. Our warm up this week used Tabata training techniques (timed sets of as many reps as you can do).

Here’s what we did today!

Warm Up:

  • Tabata air squats (8 sets of 20 seconds, rest for 10 seconds)
  • Tabata crunches (8 sets of 20 seconds, rest for 10 seconds)
  • Tabata planks (8 sets of 20 seconds, rest for 10 seconds)

Lift:

  • Bicep Curl – 3 sets of 10
  • French Press – 3 sets of 10
  • Shoulder Press – 3 sets of 10

  • Wrist Curls – 3 sets of 15
  • Air Punches – 3 sets of 20
  • Side Lateral Raise – 3 sets of 10
  • Front Raise – 3 sets of 10

  • Hamstring Curl – 3 sets of 10
  • Leg Press – 3 sets of 10
  • Calf Raises (holding dumbbells) – 3 sets of 20

Extra:

7 sets of 7 burpees and 7 air squats
